The Truth Behind Juice for Weight Loss Diet

With the great number of weight loss methods that are available today it is not surprising that some methods may go to extremes. If you are seeking a means on how you can shed excess weight then you should be very careful in making your choices. Keep in mind that real weight loss can only be achieved by a balanced combination of diet and exercise. There is no other method that can work. You need the exercise in order to burn the excess fat deposit that is in your body. You need the diet in order to prevent additional fat from entering your system. If there is any product or method that claims to reduce your weight on its own, I suggest that you be careful with that. I am not saying that they are all false methods but you just have to be careful in using them since they might not be able to deliver the effect that you desire:

Juice for Weight Loss Diet
- One method that is gaining popularity right now is the use of a strictly juice diet. There are many variations with this kind of diet. The more strict diets of this type require that no solid food should be eaten. Only juice should be consumed during the whole period. That makes this kind of diet a rather extreme one. Those who promote and advocate it claim that the body can still get the essential nutrients that it needs from the juice of the fruits that they are going to drink but since the drinks contain no fat at all they could not add to your weight. Typically this form of fast should last for three days maximum. Anything longer than that should only be done under medical supervision.

What Else Does it Involve?
- Aside from the actual fast itself, you should cut down on your food consumption at least a week before the actual fast. This is so that the body is not going to have to face a lot of adjustment. You must also drink plenty of water during the fast in addition to the fruit juice that you are going to consume. If possible get organic fruits and vegetables so that you can stay free from the chemicals used in commercially grown plants. You can do some variations of the fast. For example, if you feel that you can not handle not eating at all then take at least one small meal.

Who Can try it Out?- Anyone who is free from any potentially dangerous medical condition can try this out. Of course it is going to be a lot better if you are under the supervision of your doctor when you try this.

What are the side Effects of a juice Diet? - There are many possible side effects with this kind of diet. Headache, nausea, akin problems, body odor and bad breath are just some of the possible problems that might develop if you go on with this sort of diet to help you lose weight.
