You see, we’re going to cheat a little bit. And we’re going to cheat in our weight loss efforts because you just happen to be lucky that you’re so young. The teen years are the best years for weight loss efforts because you’re growing and your metabolism is kicking into high gear. Now, you probably thought that meant you could eat anything as a growing boy or girl and not put on weight, but if you’re reading this you realize now that just isn’t true.

Okay, we spoke about how much weight you could lose as a teenage girl or boy in about a week. So, in 2 weeks you will see anywhere from 10 or more pounds lost. Sounds good doesn’t it?
Okay, you’re a smart cookie, maybe you’re even an honor roll student and you’re thinking, okay Becky, what’s the catch? Oooh… you’re onto me Are you ready for the catch about how to lose leg fat for teenage girls fast?
Here’s the real deal, the 411 on losing leg fat for teenage girls in 2 weeks fast… It’s gonna take effort. And I mean a real effort. We’re going to use a 3 pronged approach, you could say 2 but really, it’s 3. The second thing that exercise does for weight loss is it helps you get toned. And teenage boys and girls who are toned can carry a few extra pounds without looking fat.
Now there are 2 types of exercises that you can do at home or at the gym too that help with losing inner thigh fat for teens. The first is called aerobic exercise. This is the kind of exercise that you do for a longer time and it makes you breath heavy. Aerobic exercises are things like tennis, swimming, badminton, running, walking, surfing, volleyball etc. Think sports and you’ll have a good idea of aerobic exercise.

So let’s look at a couple of examples. Some of you might be self conscious when you’re first looking to lose weight as a teenager, maybe you feel embarrassed because your legs are too fat or your arms are too fat. Don’t worry, you’re probably your own worst critic, but I understand that, because I was there once too.
My preference for the girls might be a little different then what the teenage boys would want in their weight loss efforts. But if you want to do exercises at home there are a ton of options. Calisthenics are great and they’ll have you huffing and puffing.
Jumping Jacks are excellent. You start with your arms at your sides and you jump up and spread your feet out to your sides and swipe your arms up over head and then you return to a standing position. Skipping rope is another great exercise to lose weight that you can do at home, and if you don’t have rope you can just pretend. Just jumping up and down for 5 or 10 minutes will have you breathing hard quickly.
If you have a flight of stairs or two you can climb them up and down. Go for 10 or 20 or more flights and you’ll be panting hard. Want to make it harder? Take the stairs 2 or 3 at a time. Waling is a great and classic exercise and can be done anywhere. Running is wonderful too.
The key is to make exercise part of your daily habit and do some exercise that you like. It doesn’t have to be super hard. Walking is great. Doing air squats without any weight is terrific. Do 20 or 50 and then rest, and do that 3 or so times per day. There are sooo many options girls if you just take a moment to think about moving your body around. And the faster or bigger or the more movement you do the more calories you’ll burn.
Sports are fun and can help you find friendships and build your self esteem and confidences at the same time as you lose weight.

You can lost quite a bit of weight in just one week as we’ve mentioned. But if you have say 20 or more pounds to lose it will take you 3 weeks or more to lose the weight. So you have to be patient and kind to yourself.
The last ingredient, the third ingredient to losing weight around the legs for teenage girls is to eat healthfully. This is tied into the first ingredient where I said we need to limit how much food we are eating. This third part for many of you might be the hardest part. Here’s why.
I want you to stop drinking anything that has calories. No more fruit juice or vitamin waters or milk or pop. You can drink diet pop and you can drink a bit of coffee or tea with just a splash of milk in it, but I’d rather you didn’t drink diet pop because it’s just plain bad for you.
Make friends with Adam’s Ale… That’s good old fashioned water Add a squeeze of lime or lemon to it for a hint of deliciousness, but no more calorie laden drinks.
Also, NO more processed foods and especially no more high fat and fried foods. I told you this would be the hardest part. No more french fries, candy, cookies, chips, burgers, rich creamy sauces. It will take a little while for your taste bud to adjust. I’d also ask you to stop using cheese.
Remember ladies and gentleman we have a limited budget of calories we can consume each day. And if you eat too many processed foods, you’ll use up your calories quota without feeling full and you’ll struggle with hunger more than you should.
Here’s a sample diet for teenage girls who want to lose fat anywhere on their bodies. This is 1200 calories worth of foods.
1 cup of Optimum cereal with 1 cup of 2% milk/soy milk
4 cups of mixed greens salad with 1 tbs low fat dressing and 1 soy chicken breast
1 cup rice with 0.5 cup chickpea beans and 0.5 cup of tomato pasta sauce and 0.5 cup mixed veggies
So as you can see, there isn’t a lot of room for high calorie foods if you’re trying to lose weight fast as a teenage girl. The sample diet above should allow you to feel fairly satiated throughout the day. You might feel a bit of hunger late in the evening but I have one more tip for you to help you cope. I always drink a glass of water before each meal. About 10 before each meal. It helps me feel fuller longer after I’ve eaten.
Now don’t try and go crazy with losing a ton of weight too fast. You’re still growing and you need to get the right nutrients into your body to help you stay healthy.
